Vita
Maximilian Banning studied economics at the Westfälische Wilhelms-University Münster which he graduated as Master of Science in 2017. At the centre of his studies were econometrics and empirical economics as well as microeconomics.
Since August 2017 Maximilian Banning is working at GWS’s department of Energy and Climate. At the core of research are the impact of renewable energy energies – especially regarding labour markets in the MENA region –, analysis and modelling of international trade flows as well as the rebound effect related to energy efficiency.
