Jonas Krinitz graduated from the University of Freiburg in 2020 with a Master of Science in Economics, majoring in Monetary Economics, Macroeconomics and Econometrics.

During his studies he worked for several years for the Chair of Information Systems – partly also in a leading position – on research projects in the area of "Machine Learning in Finance". Furthermore, he supported the Chair of Economic Policy in work on the socio-economic panel.

Jonas Krinitz also worked in conjunction with the research group Miggroprices on the analysis of micro-price data to improve consumer price indices.

Following his studies, Mr. Krinitz worked as a research assistant at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences on a macroeconomic evaluation of the "Economic Development 4.0" projects for the regionalization of production and consumption.

Since February 2021, he has been working in the Economic and Social Affairs department of GWS.
