Second general assembly of the SOCLIMPACT project

The second general assembly of the SOCLIMPACT project (www.soclimpact.org) took place 14 to 18 January 2019 on the Greek island of Crete. Next to status reports for all work packages and the establishments first physical meetings of the sector modeling teams on the four Blue Economy Sectors “marine transport, tourism, islands’ energy and aquaculture” took place. The understanding of the aquaculture sector was enhanced by a visit in the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR)’s Institute of Marine Biology, Biotechnology and Aquaculture. Ulrike Lehr and Mark Meyer are the project leaders at GWS and took part in these events.
