Climate Change Adaptation in Blue Economy Sectors of European Islands
The project “DownScaling CLImate imPACTs and decarbonisation pathways in EU islands and enhancing socioeconomic and non-market evaluation of Climate Change for Europe, for 2050 and beyond” is an interdisciplinary research project funded by the EU Horizon 2020 scheme. GWS is modeling the economic effects of climate change and adaptation on the level of European Islands. The kick-off meeting with all participants took place on the Canary Island of Gran Canaria, hosted by the TIDES Institute of the University of Las Palmas.
