Development of a databank of the CO2-emissions that are included in the Austrian im- and exports (so-called “CO2-rucksacks”). By using the GWS model GRAM (Global Resource Accounting Model) as a basis, a method of calculating the climate balance of the foreign trade for Austria was developed. Thereafter, a databank for the Austrian CO2 emissions has been developed. This project has closed an important gap regarding the data of the Austrian climate research and policy and can be used for future calculations and modeling.
